Although Days Gone didn't make a big hit with many critics when it released in April of last year, it found itself in second place according to the analysis firm The NPD Group, narrowly falling behind Mortal Kombat 11 who took top place. If you recall in November last year, Bend Studio Director Chris Reese indicated that the team behind Days Gone wanted "to keep breathing more life into, and explore many, many different avenues.” Even though rumors began circulating that this could very well mean a sequel to the PlayStation 4 game, it now seems clearer that Bend Studio wanted to bring the post-apocalyptic world to the next generation. The news came in the form of a tweet by Sony's Bend Studio Twitter account stating that Days Gone PS4 saves would transfer to PS5 so that you will be able to continue your adventure or start a New Game Plus as well as support for up to 60 frames per second with a dynamic 4K which means that players will be able to take Deacon along the broken road at a higher frame rate and resolution. For those who haven't had a chance to dive into the freaker infested world yet, you can pick the game up as part of the PlayStation Plus Collection that's coming to the PlayStation 5 at no extra cost for PS Plus Subscribers. Some of the games included with Days Gone are God of War, Bloodborne, Detroit: Become Human, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Final Fantasy XV, and many others.

If you have been enjoying the open road in Days Gone, you may have noticed the incredibly changeable weather in the post-apocalyptic world but you may not have seen a freaker get hit by lightning in the midst of a storm.
