Sony Interactive Entertainment showcased some lovely PS4 gameplay of Bend Studios' open-world game Days Gone.

During the PlayStation Live coverage from E3 2018 in Los Angeles, Sony Interactive Entertainment Bend Studios showcased some new gameplay of Days Gone.

The quest showcased in the video is titled “you got a death wish” and we see how the player is taking a run-and-gun approach to find a part for his bike. It would also be possible to play it in a completely different way, for instance stealthily.

The freakers are alive, so they have an actual ecosystem and physiological needs. You can clean nests to open fast travel routes. You can even use the freakers against your enemies. Merchants will sell you items if you earn their trust.

All of the buildings’ interiors are accessible and there are no loading times. Funnily, we also get to see a player’s death and to hear about bike customization.

If you want to see more, you can also enjoy the latest trailer and some new screenshots. You can also see some gameplay from E3 2017, another playthrough showing a different path, and yet another, showing a completely different approach to the same situation.
