Days Gone is currently the biggest first-party exclusive that we know for a fact Sony will be releasing for PS4 this year. As such, many people are looking forward to this game, even after it was delayed from February to April. Today, over a month before the game's scheduled launch, developed Sony Bend Studio confirmed on Twitter that Days Gone has gone gold.

After revealing that the game has gone gold, the Tweet simply states that development of Days Gone has "been quite the ride and we can't wait for you experience our game." We are also treated to a picture of the entire development team:

If you don't know what the term "gone gold" refers to, it means that Days Gone is in a shippable state that is ready to be sent out and distributed to stores. Even though the game will likely have a day one patch and will be supported post-launch, the version of Days Gone people will see before connecting to the internet in order to update their game is now complete.
