A brand new DayZ update is being deployed today (December 6) for both PC and Consoles. Today's update will be the first hotfix of the recently released 1.15 update.

Unfortunately, the DayZ servers will be taken offline for a short period of time today in order to deploy the new hotfix update. You can check out the official server maintenance schedule and the full patch notes for the December 6 DayZ update right here in this article.

DayZ Server Maintenance Schedule (December 6)

As mentioned previously, in order to deploy today's DayZ update, both console and PC servers will be taken offline for some server maintenance.

PC users will find the DayZ servers offline from 11AM CET to 12PM CET, whilst console users will have their servers taken down at 12PM CET until 1PM CET.

Maintenance is only scheduled to last for one hour per platform, but may be extended should any issues arise.

DayZ 1.15 Hotfix 1 Patch Notes (PC)

GAME

FIXED

  • Fixed a game crash cause by bad memory handling of particles
  • Fire barrels could despawn when all attachments were removed
  • Inventory attachment slots were not visible on some items while in hands
  • AUR rifles played the reload sound twice when reloading

SERVER

  • Fixed: Gameplay settings modifiers for stamina (sprintStaminaModifierErc and sprintStaminaModifierCro) were not working correctly
  • Fixed: Incorrect message handling on loot from the dynamic events (causing excessive flooding of logs)

MODDING

  • Fixed: Crash when calling GetGame().ObjectDelete() on a ParticleSource managed by a ParticleManager, it will now ignore the request and output an error
