DC Universe Online is a game that I have had my eye on for quite some time, all the way back to the NYC Comic Con. I must admit that I am not a huge fan of the DC world except for a couple of exceptions like the Batman universe primarily. This gameplay footage shows a very hectic view of battle that runs silky smooth and shows off that the controls translate very well to a console. I have had opportunities to play the game and it is very easy to pick up and play. This title looks to continue to grow and could totally obliterate the MMORPG genre, especially on the PS3 if it stays as a free to play MMO. After speaking with one of the producers it is clear that there is a ton of lore that the creators are looking to pull from in order to make this a very unique experience while providing tons of potential DLC.
