Zombie Apocalypse RPG Dead Age Launching on Xbox One Next Week

August 30, 2018

Tactical zombie horror RPG Dead Age will be coming to Xbox One next Friday, September 7, 2018 according to publisher Headup Games and developer Silent Dreams. You can currently pre-order the game for $11.99 USD, 20% off its launch price of $14.99. Dead Age will also only take up about 1.89 GB of hard drive space.

Dead Age is another zombie apocalypse game but features turn-based combat and heavier RPG elements than most in the zombie genre. Failure means permadeath but medals you have earned can be used to buy upgrades next time. Randomization for each run will give you different missions and survivors each time to keep things fresh.

Previously released on Steam in November 2016 after some time in early access, Silent Dreams is now expanding to consoles with its Xbox One release. As cited by Headup Games, Dead Age has a “very positive” rating on the Steam store with over 2500 reviews. Thanks to the feedback of fans over the course of its life on PC, Xbox One players will be getting the best version to date.

Survive the zombie apocalypse with turn-based combat and permanent death! Manage survivors, go on dangerous scavenging runs, build alliances, craft equipment, make difficult story-influencing decisions, defend your camp against undead hordes and experience non-linear rogue-lite elements.
