Dead by Daylight is all about getting your hands a little dirty, whether you’re a Survivor sticking your fingers into busted-down engines or you’re the Killer… you know, killing people. Well, through an event going on for this weekend only, all of you Survivors and Killers are expected to work a little harder. Don’t worry! There’s plenty in it for you.

Behaviour Studios has announced the Dead by Daylight Summer Bloodfeast event for both PC and consoles, asking players to earn a combined total of 150 billion Bloodpoints (that’s the in-game name for XP) in order to win some sweet rewards.

You might be thinking, “Wow! A lot of people are going to need to be sacrificially murdered in order for us to get that many Bloodpoints.” Not all hope is lost (except for the sacrificially murdered)! For the entirety of the weekend, Bloodpoints will be earned at three times the usual rate.

If players can reach the 150 billion Bloodpoints before the end of the Dead by Daylight Summer Bloodfeast at 11:00 pm PST on August 8, the following rewards will be provided.

PC: Allow the Anniversary Bloodpoint Offerings to spawn until the next community event.

Console: Access to the Anniversary Bloodpoint Offerings and Allow them to spawn until the next community event.

What are the Anniversary Bloodpoint Offerings? Glad you asked! Back when Dead by Daylight was celebrating its one-year anniversary on June 14, 2017, PC players were provided access to exclusive Offerings that allowed for verious boosts to earned Bloodpoints. They were as follow:

Escape Cake: Grants 100% bonus Bloodpoints in all categories.

Survivor Pudding: Grants 100% bonus Bloodpoints in all categories.

Bloody Party Streamers: Grants 100% bonus Bloodpoints in all categories for all players.

In case you were wondering how the event is going right now, players have earned over 35 billion Bloodpoints. How do we know that? Well, there's this handy little real-time counter Behaviour has conveniently provided. So, get out there and play some Dead by Daylight!

Dead by Daylight is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
