French indie developer Motion Twin has released its sixth and final major content patch for its Early Access title Dead Cells. A new vlog from the developer flaunts some of the new additions to the game.

The "Hand of the King" update will include a castle-themed level, a new boss, and a fourth difficulty level. Additionally, a slew of balance changes, design tweaks, and bug fixes have been implemented, some of which were suggested by the community. The full patch notes are available for anyone who wishes to look at the new changes.

Mixing design and gameplay elements from rogue-lites and metroidvanias, Dead Cells is an action-platformer where you explore an ever-changing castle filled with various pattern-based enemies and bosses. Though the game does feature permadeath, there is no need to fret. Each death you endure will grant you access to a new level, giving you more options to start from.

Dead Cells is currently available on PC through Steam Early Access and GoG. An official release date has yet to be revealed, but its expected to launch this year adding the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One to its platforms list.
