Motion Twin, the developer responsible for defining the sub-genre of RogueVania, has announced that its title Dead Cells has entered into the GOG Games in Development program. In addition to that, the game is boasting a discount and a timed-exclusive update on the digital store.

The newest update to release for Dead Cells is called The Brutal Update. It's being called the game's "biggest update yet" and it includes a new boss, new levels, new enemies, a new tier system, and various other improvements and features for you to explore. As mentioned previously, this update is temporarily exclusive to the GOG platform, but only for 24 hours.

Dead Cells can now be purchased through the GOG store for 25% off of its regular price. That means that instead of $16.99, the game is available for $12.74. However, as this is a GOG launch promotion, the discount will only be available until November 20.

Dead Cells is currently available for PC through Steam and GOG. For more information on the game, you can visit its official website. If you'd like a hint at what to expect from The Brutal Update, the following art has also been revealed in honor of the release.
