Earlier this week, the Japanese release date for Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. Today, Koei Tecmo announced that Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is scheduled to relase on February 17 in North America and February 20 in Europe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be available for $39.99, while the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will cost $29.99.
If you pre-order the game at GameStop, Amazon and Best Buy (in North America) and GAME, ShopTo.net, and Centresoft (in Europe), you will receive a variety of costume sets. included with your purchase.
When pre-ordering at GameStop, you will receive the “Ninja” (for Ayane, Hayabusa, Hayate, and Kasumi), and Aloha (for Ayane, Hitomi, Kasumi, and Mila) costume sets. Amazon and Best Buy pre-orders will include the “Showstopper” (for Christie, Helena, Lisa, and Tina) and “Beach Party” (for Kokoro, Leifang, Momiji, and Rachel) sets.
When pre-ordering at at GAME, you will receive the “Ninja” (for Ayane, Hayabusa, Hayate, and Kasumi) and “Aloha” (for Ayane, Hitomi, Kasumi, and Mila) costume sets. ShopTo.net pre-orders will include the “Ninja” and “Showstopper” (for Christie, Helena, Lisa, and Tina) sets. Lastly, when pre-ordering at Centresoft and independent retailers, you will receive the “Ninja” and “Beach Party” (for Kokoro, Leifang, Momiji, and Rachel) sets.
PlayStation 4 owners will be able to get Dead or Alive 5: Last Round Core Fighters, a free version of the game which includes Ayane, Hayate, Kasumi, and Ryu Hayabusa, and almost every game mode. The game can be expanded with additional purchases. As for Xbox One users, they will have access to a free trial version of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, which has the same features as the PlayStation 4’s Core Fighters, but cannot be expanded with additional purchases. However, Core Fighters will be available for $4.99, for those who wish to expand their game. This will include the same content as the trial version, but with four additional fighters: Hitomi, Tina, Jann Lee, and Bass.
Additionally, users may transfer unlocked titles, costumes, and Story Mode progress from Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate to both the free and full retail versions of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. Additional characters, Story Mode, and other features can be accessed for a fee.
