The newest issue of Famitsu magazine contains some new details regarding the upcoming fighting game Dead or Alive 5. Firstly, the magazine describes the first series newcomer, if we exclude the Virtua Fighter guest characters. The new fighter is a man named Rig and he’s of Canadian decent. Rig reportedly wields the powerful Tae Kwon Do fighting style, which should turn out pretty interesting.

The magazine also details the ‘Photography’ feature that’ll be in the game. Players will be able to capture both images and video of their battles using a refined control scheme to shoot from various angles and positions. I’m sure this mode will bring many fans countless hours of enjoyment.

Dead or Alive 5 will be available this September.
