Dead or Alive 6’s Leifang and Hitomi Officially Revealed With Explosive Trailer and 4K Screenshots

Dead or Alive Extreme 6 will feature Leifang and Hitomi, while a giant Kraken is ready to rock your boat in the brand new Forbidden Fortune stage,

Today Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja officially revealed two returning characters to the upcoming fighting game Dead or Alive 6.

Both ladies probably won’t be a surprise, as they were already teased at EVO 2018. They’re Leifang and Hitomi.

The press release included an official description for both fighters:

“Leifang, known as the T’ai Chi Ch’uan Genius, is the master of using her opponent’s power against them, countering assaults thanks to her flawless Sabaki and Inashi parries. She employs a variety of effective holds to gracefully counter enemy attacks, all the while hoping to prove her strength and capabilities as she pushes forward through the DOA Tournament.

Joining Leifang in DOA6 is “The Fist of Innocence,” Hitomi. The 20-year-old of mixed German and Japanese descent is a well-balanced karate expert; utilizing speed, power, and a long reach to take down opponents thanks to a straight punch that is equally beautiful and terrifying. Hitomi specializes in using techniques that combine both offensive and defensive elements in one smooth strike.”

On top of the two characters, we get the reveal of a new dynamic stage titled Forbidden Fortune. The setting is a derelict pirate ship featuring piles of gold and hidden traps. A giant Kraken is also lurking beneath the keel.

As it becomes enraged due to the fighting, it will rock the ship, while damage done to the armory will cause sparks and eruptions of flames across the stage.

Leifang and Hitomi join the characters that have already been announced, Kasumi, Helena, Hayate, Hayabusa, Jann Lee, Zack, and the previous pair revealed a few weeks ago, Diego and Rig.
