Today, developer Capcom Vancouver released the launch for Dead Rising 4, which is set to release December 6th for Xbox One and PC. As you would expect, the trailer features that quintessential Dead Rising tone and humor, as well as hordes of zombies being slaughtered in unmistakable, gory ways.
Notably, Capcom revealed earlier this month that the game will not ship with campaign co-op. This was done according to David McAnerin to “focus on telling Frank’s story,” as the team is “excited to bring him back” into the fold of the Dead Rising series.
In the place of campaign co-op, Dead Rising 4 will feature four-player co-op in a separate mode inspired by the “Infinity Mode” from the original game. In this mode players will work together to survive for as long as possible against zombie hordes, as well as partake in “crazy missions.”
Further in other news, the Dead Rising Soundtrack sampler released, you can check that out here. Additionally, if you want to treat your weird side, you could also watch the game’s new 20 minute plus promotional video.
