Along with the small teaser, footage of the USG Ishimura was revealed in an unlisted YouTube video on the official Dead Space channel. It has a very low monochrome resolution, but it reveals various locations inside the ship such as the maintenance bay, the flight lounge, the engine room and other iconic places.

A blog post by EA and Motive was recently shared, confirming that the developers intend to stay true to the original game, whilst still including various enhancements and new features for players to dive into. The developers also confirmed that the Dead Space Remake would be "one sequential shot", with no loading screens, unless the player dies.

Horror fans can also get their hands on The Callisto Protocol, a spiritual successor to the Dead Space series, which will release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on December 2nd, 2022. The Dead Space Remake will release shortly after, on January 27th, 2023.
