The short teaser trailer revealed that the returning horror game would be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Motive Studios confirmed that Dead Space would be completely rebuilt from the ground up to "offer a deeper and more immersive experience."Motive also revealed that the Dead Space remake would harness the power of the Frostbite game engine and next-generation of consoles, bringing incredible visual fidelity and plenty of improvements to gameplay, whilst also staying true to the original title that was released back in 2008 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Numerous blog posts and developer diaries have been revealed by Motive along the course of Dead Space Remake's development, revealing exactly what kind of improvements and changes fans can expect from the cult classic horror game. Back in September, new details emerged confirming that the Dead Space Remake would be one sequential shot with no loading screens unless the player dies.

It was also recently revealed that fans who pre-order the Dead Space remake on Steam will also receive the original Dead Space 2 for no extra cost. Dead Space Remake has officially gone gold and will launch on January 27th, 2023, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
