Dead Space Remake will be available on PC and current-gen consoles on January 27 and is a built-from-the-ground-up remake by EA Motive, the studio that previously worked on Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Late last year, the original co-creator of Dead Space, Glen Schofield, launched The Callisto Protocol as the debut title of his new studio, but the game received mixed reviews due to its technical issues story related problems. The game also didn't perform well enough financially, based on recent reports.

Now, over a month after The Callisto Protocol's launch, fans are eagerly awaiting to jump into the remake of Dead Space. The game is already available for pre-order, and if you purchase it earlier on PC, you will receive free access to Dead Space 2 as soon as the remake launches.

For now, there is no sign of using Denuvo anti-tamper for the PC version of the Dead Space Remake, as publishers usually warn this on the game's Steam page. However, Electronic Arts have already used third-party DRM software on FIFA 23 and Need For Speed Unbound. Most anti-tamper programs, especially Denuvo, are infamous for negatively affecting performance on PC.
