Just three days ago, Rising Star Games launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a Deadly Premonition board game, with the blessing of the creator of the game Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro.

The campaign was launched with a $50,000 goal, which was reached in about nine hours, but backers didn't stop there. Now, three days after, we're at $100,464 from 1,589.

This means that the game received twice as much backing as initially requested, achieving all but one of the original stretch goals with 27 days to go.

The next stretch goal, at $125,000, is quite interesting, as it will prompt SWERY himself to design a new agent character.

If you want to pledge for the board game yourself, you can do so here.

The original Deadly Premonition was released in 2010 for PS3, XBox 360 and PC.
