The latest issue of the Weekly Famitsu magazine included a spread on the upcoming JRPG by Compile Heart Death End re;Quest.

Most importantly, we get the reveal of the Japanese release date, which is going to be on March 1st, exclusively for PS4.

We also see quite a lot of new screenshots and artwork, heavily featuring the glitch mode for some of the game’s playable waifus. When they are in this mode, they’re considerably stronger, but of course the first thing eaten by the glitches is their clothes. This is a Compile Heart game after all, so what did you expect?

We also get a look at some of the bigger monsters that we’ll encounter in the game, and at more gameplay screenshots.

You can check all the screenshots out just below, but keep in mind that they’re from magazine scans, so the quality isn’t exactly perfect. Also, I wouldn’t call them unsafe for work, but there’s a lot of skin in sight.

Death End re;Quest doesn’t have an announced release for the west just yet, but hopefully, it’ll come soon enough. Personally, it looks like a change of pace for Compile Heart in many ways, so i’m looking forward to this one.
