Death Stranding Travels Back to the 60s in This Bond Inspired Poster
Stranding, Death Stranding gets the full James Bond treatment with this 60's inspired poster from No Spoilers.
What’s cooler than cool? That’s right, James Bond. And since Bond is so cool, that makes most Bond-themed things cool. Now, I think we can all agree that Death Stranding also seems pretty cool. That must mean, and try to stay with me here, this 60’s Bond-inspired Death Stranding poster is in the upper echelons of cool, a place only a few posters can call home. Check this thing out:
This poster was created by No Spoilers, a group of blokes with a serious talent for artwork as it turns out. They definitely captured the essence of old-fashioned Bond movie posters. I see its greatest resemblance in the poster for The Man with the Golden Gun.
Super hyped for #DeathStranding so decided to create a 60’s Bond inspired poster for something to do while I wait for the 8th November. With help from Yoji Shikiniwa’s iconic art style. @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN @pturnerdigital #PS4 pic.twitter.com/m68GLulJOk

I have no doubt Hideo Kojima would be hugely appreciative of this creation–the man’s a self-proclaimed cinephile. He’s definitely a fan of 60’s era James Bond if the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater cinematic intro is anything to go by. Even the main theme of that game is highly reminiscent of Bond films.
Expect to see more creations like this poster between now and when Death Stranding drops on Nov. 8, 2019. We’ve already seen some pretty creative stuff–I’m personally excited to see what people come up with next.
Death Stranding will be a PS4 exclusive. You can pre-order one of its many versions on Amazon now if you’re so inclined.
