Death Stranding is Turned Into an Anime In This Upcoming Fan-Made Project
A pair of animators are working diligently on an upcoming fan animation in tribute to the long-awaited Death Stranding this fall.
When it comes to the games arriving later this year, few have the level of anticipation around them that Death Stranding has had in the past few years. With the game officially arriving this November, we thankfully won’t have too much longer to wait, but it seems like one pair of fans are crafting the perfect tribute to Hideo Kojima’s long-awaited game.
Channy and Kimberly, a pair of animators from Paris, shared a few glimpses of an upcoming animation project that imagines Death Stranding in the style of an anime intro. According to the duo, they’ve worked on this project for over two years in their spare time.
On their Twitter account, the duo said that the animation project will be getting a trailer “soon,” while the full project is aiming to debut sometime in October, which would be timed well with the game’s November release date.
Death Stranding will release exclusively for PS4 on November 8, 2019, and you can pre-order the game over on Amazon now. For a closer look at the upcoming anime fan project from Channy and Kimberly, you can check out the GIFs below:
