Another day, another person who has now supposedly seen Kojima Productions' upcoming Death Stranding and has been left blown away. This time around, it seems that Hideo Kojima and crew have shown Death Stranding off to film director Joe Penna. If you're unaware of who Penna is, he recently directed the film Arctic which stars none other than Mads Mikkelsen. He's also a prevalent YouTuber that goes by "MysteryGuitarMan" and has been around essentially since the video platform's inception. Anyway, you'd have to imagine that his ties to Mikkelsen is what afforded him the opportunity to see Death Stranding. After seeing the game, Penna came away simply saying on Twitter, "Holy moly." He went on to mention Death Stranding in name so that people knew what he was talking about before stating, "I've never seen anything like this." In a subsequent tweet, Penna also praised Hideo Kojima himself referring to him as "the very top."Penna joins a long list of others in recent weeks that have now seen Death Stranding. Just a couple weeks back, Kojima traveled to Amsterdam to show off the title to those at Guerrilla Games before later heading over to Remedy Entertainment to show what he and his studio have currently made to Sam Lake and company. Most recently, the upcoming Metal Gear Solid movie director Jordan Vogt-Roberts also saw the game this past week and told fans they weren't ready for what it has in store. As always at the end of these articles though, the question remains the same: when will we in the general public get to see more of Death Stranding? My response remains the same too: I don't know. That said, I will say the fact that Kojima has seemingly been showing off way more of Death Stranding in 2019 might bode well for us getting a deeper look at it soon. That's just conjecture on my part, but the project seems to at least be far enough along now that a sizable portion of it can be shown off. Hopefully, we'll join the ranks those who have seen the game very soon.Death Stranding is due out at an undetermined date and is scheduled to arrive on PS4.
