Early this morning, Kojima Productions announced that a countdown to May 29  had begun. The countdown would end with new info on their upcoming game Death Stranding. Now, Hideo Kojima has taken to his personal Twitter to release a 30-second long teaser trailer to fan the hype flames even higher. Give the

" target="_blank" rel="noopener">teaser a watch below.

As always, the teaser is incredibly vague and mysterious. There are two transparent hands that serve as a window of sorts to the trailer happening behind them. The hands are conjoined, which seems to play into the text reading "Help us Reconnect" that is imposed over the footage. We've seen hands like these before in a video Kojima put out on May 26. That video only featured one hand and the text reads "Create the Rope".

Behind the hand of both videos appears to be a connected trailer. It seems likely that these teases are giving us a glimpse of a full trailer that may release on May 29. There isn't much to glean from either teaser, but we can make out a yellow machine and a man's face. The machine certainly looks a little mech-like, which would make many fans happy. However, all of that is merely speculation at this point. We're going to have to wait a few more days to get a full picture.

Death Stranding is coming to PS4 at some point. We recently received confirmation that it (along with The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima) will not be moving off the platform to the PS4's successor. Of course, that doesn't take away the possibility of it being a cross-gen title. Hopefully, all of these questions and more are answered in the coming days. Though, with this being Kojima, I wouldn't be surprised if we end May 29 with more questions than answers.
