Kojima Productions and 505 Games announced that Death Stranding will be launching on PC in 2020, in early summer. The announcement was made via Kojima Productions' Twitter account. Moreover, 505 games stated through a press release that more details related to the PC version of Death Stranding will be coming in the near future.

I'd say it's pretty weird to announce a PC version of Death Stranding is coming just before the game launches worldwide on PS4 on November 8. But you could say at least they're honest about it. Rumors of a PC release of Death Stranding regularly happened in the past, most notably in July, when the game for some reason wasn't listed as a PS4 exclusive. But I'd say that one case was only a coincidence.

For now, we don't have any more information regarding how Death Stranding will be coming to PC. It'll be interesting to see whether it'll be via Steam or Epic Games. It's possible the game will be coming to both platforms simultaneously as well.

If unlike me you're actually looking forward to Death Stranding for other reasons than the anime factor of the Japanese dub, you'd better be careful as spoilers are out. Also, Conan O'Brien is in the game for some reason, and Mad Max's George Miller praised Kojima for his work.Â
