May 29, 2019

After setting the Internet ablaze this morning by revealing the release date for Death Stranding, director Hideo Kojima took to Twitter and began letting loose some new promotional materials for the game.

Of the new images Kojima released, most of them took the form of new posters for each of the characters in Death Stranding. In the past, these same posters have also been released alongside the reveal of other characters in the game but today’s new trailer revealed previously unseen people that will be appearing in the game. The names of some of these new characters include Die-Hardman, Higgs, Mama, and Heartman. We also received new posters for Sam, the main protagonist played by Norman Reedus, and Deadman, who will be the character played by Guillermo del Toro.

In addition to all of these new posters, a whole slew of new high-quality screenshots for Death Stranding were also released. If you watched today’s new trailer for the game, you’ll recognize all of these new images from the video, but the pics are of a very high quality. Once again, we get to see some of the new characters from Death Stranding in addition to some new clips of gameplay, including that of Sam’s newly revealed motorcycle-like vehicle.

You can find all of these new images and posters in the gallery below if you’d like to take a look at them for yourself. For more on Death Stranding, be sure to also check out the game’s new collector’s edition which comes with a replica life-size baby pod.
