Eager followers of 2D action platformer Death's Gambit will certainly be pleased by the game's latest piece of news: a trailer with the anticipated release date of the game of August 14, 2018.

Back in 2016, we got a trailer for the bosses of the game, and everyone would say that there is definitely a Dark Souls-y vibe. Now, the newest trailer for the game showcases a bit of story in addition to a release date, including the super-relatable text of "Destined for Failure". We also get to see some neat images of the game's art style, player character, and some enemies to boot. You get a chance to check out some of the stylish pixel-art of the 2D undead journey before being introduced to the release date of the game.
