Deathsmiles Sells Nearly 100,000 Copies, Now Out in Europe

While European countries may have just gotten access to the much beloved Deathsmiles this past week, it’s constantly growing cult status has proven to be fairly successful for the little Shmup. The game has sold almost 100,000 copies between the US and Japan, which isn’t even taking into account the European launch yet. A spokesperson for Cave games told MCV;

“After a very strong arcade run, the port of Deathsmiles for Xbox360 went on to become the best-selling shooter package on the system, and has sold nearly 100,000 copies between the US and Japan.

I personally haven’t gotten around to playing this yet, but my friends won’t shut up about this and they usually treat me right with their game addictions so it’s on my list. Plus, look at that picture!
