God Eater is a pretty popular series of action RPGs in Japan, so it comes as no surprise that it will be getting an anime adaption.

The debut trailer has been released for the adaptation, which is dubbed simply God Eater and being created by ufotable, the same studio that handles various Tales of anime adaptations and is perhaps best known for the Fate works. The anime will feature a new protagonist not introduced in any of the video games, but will also feature appearances from memorable characters from the series. It is set to begin airing in Japan this summer.
