Deemo II is Announced with a Teaser Trailer by Rayark Games
Deemo II has officially been announced by developer Rayark Games with a piano-tinged, atmospheric teaser trailer.
The original Deemo, which debuted on mobile way back in 2013, gained a lot of attention with its original release thanks to its compelling mix of beautiful visuals and music with a heartfelt story. Though the game eventually made its way to Vita and Nintendo Switch, along with an enhanced PS4 version called Deemo -REBORN-, the music-based title is finally getting a proper follow-up in the form of the newly-announced Deemo II.
Developer Rayark Games has officially announced Deemo II, a sequel to the acclaimed rhythm game that also appears to blend in heavy narrative elements with its music-based gameplay. The teaser trailer itself (by design) doesn’t give us a ton to go off of, but it features some incredible music and gives a great impression of its atmosphere and tone, with plenty of hints of what we can expect from the story that it will tell. Especially with that giant monster/creature at the end of the trailer: I’d say that is a pretty big hint (no pun intended).
Personally-speaking I haven’t played the original Deemo myself, but based on the teaser trailer for its sequel, I have to say I’m intrigued by what the trailer shows, especially based on its haunting music. Right now, it hasn’t been confirmed just yet what platforms that Deemo II will be coming to or when it will be releasing, but for now you can head over to Rayark’s official website for the game and stay tuned for more information on when it will be coming.
Deemo II is currently in development, with no announced platforms or release window at this time. For a closer look at the game, you can check out the teaser trailer below:
