Deliver Us The Moon Receives PC Update Adding RTX Support

Space looked nice, and now it's looking nicer.

Deliver Us The Moon is a PC game from developer KeokeN Interactive and publisher Wired Productions that officially launched this year on PC. While it was known that the game would later support RTX through a game update post-launch, it appears the time has now come. As of today, Deliver Us The Moon has received an update that introduces real-time ray tracing.

The game, set in space of all places, is a sci-fi thriller set in the near future where Earth’s natural resources have depleted, leaving a singular astronaut to travel to the moon to save humanity. Players are surrounded by futuristic environments with atmospheric surroundings to add, all of this enhanced by real-time ray tracing and global illumination thanks to the new update.

The development team thank the community for their patience and hope they enjoy the RTX enhancements, and a new trailer has been released that you can watch below. It shows off the game as it looks with RTX on and NVIDIA DLSS technology, using comparisons with the standard version of the game without the feature turned on. Reflections are much more prominent, lights are brighter and shadows are deeper. It looks wonderful and the video is accompanied by a lovely soundtrack.

In addition to the update, if you’ve ever fancied being an astronaut yourself, running around the room with a cardboard box helmet as a kid, Wired Productions and KeokeN are running streams throughout the week. These will not only include giveaways, but a chance to bag a trip for two to NASA in Orlando, Florida. Winners will get to experience astronaut training as well as having a meal with a real-life astronaut who I assume won’t be in full space gear at the table. You can enter the giveaway here

Deliver Us The Moon is available on PC with the RTX update available now. The game is set to land on PS4 and Xbox One sometime in 2020.
