Aniplex is holding a special live stream for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc (S2) this July 13 - here's the stream starting time and what you should know.

Originally a manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, Kimetsu no Yaiba became the most popular shonen series of the moment with its anime adaptation by Studio Ufotable. The Mugen Train movie reached a box office revenue of over 40 billion Yen in Japan. The TV anime second season, which adapts the arc following the movie, will be beginning in October, and we'll hear more about it on this stream.

Demon Slayer S2 (Yuukaku-hen) Stream time

The Demon Slayer season 2 stream will be starting July 13 at 6 AM EST. Click here for a table with other time zones, and click here for a countdown. The stream will feature two seiyuu: Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro) and Katsuyuki Konishi (Tengen Uzui).

The stream is happening on YouTube, on the Aniplex channel. However, this channel is region-locked to Japan.

The stream is also happening on Abema TV, the TV streaming and VOD service owned by Cygames. If you've never heard of this site before, its anime channels are actually region-locked to Japan as well. In other words, you won't be able to watch the Kimetsu no Yaiba Yuukaku-hen stream through normal means.

What to expect on the live stream, trailer predictions

Officially, Aniplex only stated in its press release the the stream will include "new information". Personally, I believe the stream should most notably feature a new trailer, and introduce some of the seiyuu voicing the new characters who will appear in season 2.

Even if the stream is region-locked, the official Kimetsu anime Twitter should be sharing the news as well. So I'll be here to translate what gets announced. So stay tuned on DualShockers. You can also reach out to me on Twitter @A_iyane07.

Simultaneously with the launch of season 2 of the anime in October, Aniplex, CyberConnect2 and Sega will also launch Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Hinokami Chronicles. The game releases on October 15 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Steam. It's an arena 3D fighter with several demon slayer corps playable characters. None of the demons are playable but we'll get to fight some of them in the Story Adventure mode featuring Tanjiro. Read more on the game with our past coverage.
