Recently, Funimation announced that Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train will start streaming on its website starting this week. And here's when you can expect the movie to hit the streaming platform.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train serves as a direct sequel to the anime adaptation's first season. In the movie, we see Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke accompany Flame Hashira Kyōjurō Rengoku on a train to hunt a demon.
The movie featured some of the most incredible fighting sequences, along with breathtaking animation and music scores. And that's why it's no wonder that it became the second-highest-grossing anime movie of all time.

When Does Demon Slayer Mugen Train come out for Streaming?
Funimation confirmed that the Demon Slayer Mugen Train movie would be available on the website starting Tuesday, June 22nd, 2021.
Fortunately, the streaming platform will include both the dubbed and the subbed version of the movie. So, it's best to take the subscription to the streaming service if you don't have it already.
Besides Funimation, fans can stream the Demon Slayer movie from Apple TV, Microsoft Store, Vudu, PlayStation Store, and Amazon on the same day. And according to the Microsoft Store, the movie would be available to stream at 9 PM PDT (Pacific Timing).
However, as reported by HITC, the release timing isn't confirmed on all platforms, including Funimation.
Anyway, if the release timing remains the same across all platforms, here's when you can stream the Demon Slayer movie on Funimation:
- Pacific Time: 9 PM PDT (Monday, June 21st)
- Central Time: 11 PM CDT (Monday, June 21st)
- Eastern Time: 12 AM EDT (Tuesday, June 22nd)
- British Time: 5 AM BST (Tuesday, June 22nd)
