Funimation To Stream Demon Slayer 2

Today, Funimation officially announced its plans to simulcast Demon Slayer Season 2 which will be a continuation of the events that take place in the Demon Slayer movie Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train.

This time we shall get to see Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke venturing towards a new mission with the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui.

While the exact release date is yet to be announced, Funimation confirmed that anime will be premiered sometime later this year.

This means all Demon Slayer fans in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand will be able to watch it later this year.

Along with the announcement, Funimation also shared the previously released key art and trailer with English subs:

There are several rumors circulating around which points towards an October launch date for the Entertainment District Arc adaptation. If that is indeed the timeline for release that we can expect to hear an official announcement by Ufotable regarding the Demon Slayer Season 2 release date at the end of September.

This would also mean that we won't have to wait too long for it. But for now, we should take such rumors with a pinch of salt and wait until we get official announcement.
