Well, the Infinity Train story arc officially concluded with the first seven episodes of Season 2. Now, everyone is looking forward to the beginning of Tanjiro’s journey with the Sound Hashira, Tengen.

Season 2 Episode 8 of Demon Slayer will be released worldwide to start the Entertainment District Arc on Sunday, December 5th, 2021, at 7:45 AM PT (Pacific Timing).
Of course, the release time for the episode will vary depending on your region. So, to make sure you don’t miss the premiere here’s the exact release time of the Entertainment District Arc episode for these regions:

You can watch the first episode of the Entertainment District Arc on Crunchyroll and Funimation. Premium Crunchyroll users will get the premiere episode of Entertainment District Arc on Dec 5th; however, free users will have to wait until Dec 12th to get watch the episode.
Along with that, Netflix also gets new episodes of Demon Slayer every week, but in some selected regions.
Entertainment District Arc to Begin With a One-Hour Long Episode
Similar to other TV anime shows, Demon Slayer features episodes with a runtime of less than 30 minutes. However, Ufotable confirmed that the first episode of Entertainment District Arc would be an hour-long, making it one of the longest anime episodes so far.

Interestingly, Ufotable released a preview for the Entertainment District Arc after the broadcast of Season 2 Episode 7. The new trailer shows the Sound Hashira, Tanjiro, Inosuke, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and several new characters that’ll appear in Episode 8. On top of that, we can see a glimpse of Tanjiro using the breathing technique against a demon.
Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode Count
After the Season 2 announcement, it was revealed that Season 2 of Demon Slayer would consist of 18 episodes. The infinity train arc took up the first seven episodes, so the Entertainment District Arc will take the remaining 11 episodes. The good thing is that the first episode of Entertainment District Arc will be equivalent to two episodes with a runtime of one hour.
