Demon Slayer update 1.31 is now available for download, but patch notes don't reveal anything big other than a few fixes and improvements.

Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles is a video game based on the well-known anime series of the same name, launched back in Fall 2021.

Featuring both story-driven single-player, and PvP multiplayer modes, the game puts you in the role of Tanjiro, who is determined to get her sister back to her human form after turning into a demon.

The game goes over Tanjiro's fight against brutal demons, and you will play the protagonist in this dangerous journey in Adventure mode.

There is also a 2v2 multiplayer PvP mode as well, which allows players to fight against each other and challenge their skills.

Demon Slayer Update 1.31 Patch Notes

  • Improved stability
  • Added gameplay optimizations and performance improvements.
  • Fixed game freezing issues.
  • Added fixes for various game crashing issues.
  • Added general stability fixes.
  • Other minor bug fixes.

This is more like a hotfix or addendum update for the previous major patch of the game. Despite launching over three months earlier, Demon Slayer still struggles in delivering a consistent and stabilized experience for players.

Currently, the focus of the development team is on the Versus mode to keep players engaged with the multiplayer battles and deliver new content every now and then, including new fighters, to keep the community of the game growing.

Enmu and Yushiro were the last two characters that added to the game through the third content update back in December 2021.

Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
