Demon's Souls Servers Not Coming Online Until Oct. 6

October 6 is the release date for Atlus’ new action RPG Demon’s Souls.  Why is it an issue if the servers don’t come up until release day, wouldn’t that be logical, you ask?  Yes, it is logical.  However, in this day and age you never know when someone might get their hands on a copy of the game early, and there’s a larger quantity of this PS3 title floating around out there than the typical Atlus-published niche game.  So, they sent word along to us to let our readers know that, if you do get a copy of Demon’s Souls before the official release day, the servers will not be up and you will get a PSN error and have to play offline.  Don’t panic, though!  They’ll flip the switch and get things running on Oct. 6 and all will be fine and dandy.
