Today Bungie made a new patch for the Destiny 2 beta available for download. It's numbered 1.04

The patch is fairly big, and weighs 1.281 gigabytes on PlayStation 4, but it's required to keep playing the beta that has recently been extended until tomorrow at 6 PM Pacific time,

As for the patch notes, there aren't any, really. The update history on PS4 redirects to Bungie's update portal (as you can see in the image at the bottom of the post), but no patch is acknowledged there, which is understandable since we're still in beta.

The beta of Destiny 2 is currently ongoing for PS4 and Xbox One, with testing for PC coming at a later time.

If you want to see more from the test, you can check out a few videos of "The Farm," a new social space that was made available yesterday only for one hour, and that will replace the Tower as the guardians go in hiding in a decidedly more rural environment. If you start playing the beta now, it won't be available, so the videos are basically all we have until the game launches.

The game itself will release on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th, and on PC on October 24th.
