Insta-Forum: We Need to Talk About Destiny 2
Destiny 2's Beta has come and gone, and we are on track for launch -- but what are your impressions of the exotic FPS MMO sequel from Bungie and Activision?
It’s hard to believe, but Destiny 2 is nearly upon us. When you take into account the “storied” development of the first Destiny, many people have mixed feelings about the sequel while others (even on DualShockers’ team) still routinely put in a nightly three hours completing record books and hammering away (literally) in the Crucible.
In the world of Destiny 2, players are just coming off the high of going through the Beta. And while some people fell in love again with the dynamic Homecoming story mission and the tense (30 fps) action in the Crucible, others had their reservations and concerns about the Day 1 meta. But despite the naysayers, Destiny 2‘s pre-orders are now surpassing the original game — a bit of a surprise, given the game is now limited to three platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One) instead of four (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One).
We wanted to kick this question back to your readers.
