Good news Guardians -- a recent burst of screenshots for Destiny 2 have been unveiled to go along with the Destiny 2 news and trailer shown off yesterday.

The shots, seen below, debut off some beautiful pictures of worlds, enemies and action that those enthralled (read "addicted") to the Destiny universe have come to love.

Destiny 2 got a wealth of news yesterday, starting with the bizarre news that the game's launch would actually be moving up -- a rare sight in the delay-laden industry. The PC version of Destiny 2 also got an official launch date for later on in October. To add to that, the dates of the Beta were revealed for both PS4 and Xbox One, with a Beta window for PC being announced.

On top of both of these announcements, Bungie revealed that Destiny 2 will be continuing the tradition of having timed-exclusive content for PlayStation players. Destiny 2 specifically will contain an exclusive raid, exotic weapon, gear, ship and PvP map.

Destiny 2 was formally unveiled in early May at a giant reveal event sponsored by publisher Activision and developer Bungie. The first true, numbered sequel to the MMOFPS Destiny, the newest iteration in the series will sport new abilities, new worlds, and a whole new story.

As mentioned above, Destiny 2 will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2017; the PC version of the game will be releasing on October 24, 2017. Check out the gallery (below) with the latest round of screenshots.
