With the arrival of Season of Lost, some interesting changes are taking place in Destiny 2. Apart from the arrival of new weapons, quests, and much more, players will also be getting a chance to get some non-Exotic Stasis weapons.

Destiny 2: How to use/disable crossplay and play with friends

One of the most notable additions in the latest update is the inclusion of the crossplay feature. This means that Destiny 2 players will now be able to play with their friends on other platforms. While casual modes have full-fledged crossplay activated, competitive modes can only be used in crossplay among console players.

Considering that PC players have an advantage due to keyboard and mouse support, the absence of PC and console crossplay in competitive game modes makes a lot of sense. That being said, many players would still want to disable crossplay.

To disable crossplay on PlayStation, simply head on to the in-game settings and you will find the option to disable crossplay there only. Xbox players need to go to the Xbox Settings instead in order to turn off crossplay. Under Online Safety and Family, players should go under Communication and Multiplayer under Privacy and block “You can join cross-network play”.

Using the crossplay feature is quite straightforward and there is not much to do. All you have to do is open the Director and head on to the Invites section. Next, you need to add your friend from the other platform by searching for their Bungie name. Once you have added your friend, you can simply go to your Roster and invite them provided they are online.
