Destiny 2 Iron Banner release time and rewards teased by Bungie prior to its launch on May 18. Let’s have a look.

Every month, Destiny 2 players have the chance to play in a unique Crucible event called Iron Banner, which allows them to use their Light levels as an advantage against other players.

Simply put, having higher Light levels on the character, armors, and weapons mean that you can deal more and take less damage against the opponents who stand beneath you when it comes to the rank of levels.

However, the most notable thing that makes an Iron Banner event unique is the rewards rather than the rule of competition. Similar to previous months, there are some new weapons available as rewards in the May 2021 Iron Banner event as well.

Destiny 2 Override Moon Release Date

As promised earlier by Bungie, there are going to be two more Override activities in two new locations in addition to the current Europa one. Moon’s Override activity will be unlocked tomorrow on May 18.

That being said, some players have already managed to reach the Override Moon map, thanks to a bunch of glitches on the game that allowed them to drop inside the activity.

Override is a brand new activity that was announced prior to the launch of Season of the Splicer. The quest sends you into an alternative universe where you have to fight against the simulated Vex in different phases.

Destiny 2 is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. When it comes to the Xbox Game Pass subscribers, they can get free access to the post-launch expansions such as Beyond Light.
