If you were ever in doubt about the talent of the gaming community, all you have to do is look at what this Destiny fan produced.

Destiny, developed by Bungie, flung its way into the video game world in 2014 and since then, the title has gone through mass amounts of change.

With over 600 weapons currently in Destiny 2 (not counting Exotics), it certainly is a hard choice to choose your favourite to design in real life but one fan has nailed it with their self-made Malfeasance Gun from the game.

What is the Malfeasance Gun exactly?

You could be like me and maybe not have played Destiny in quite a long time but still appreciate a brilliantly crafted weapon.

Essentially, the Malfeasance Gun from Destiny 2 is a semi-auto Exotic hand cannon introduced in Destiny 2: Forsaken which can be dismantled to generate Glimmer, Gunsmith Materials, and Legendary Shards.

It's a pretty nifty looking weapon that players can pick up in the Seething Heart Quest.

Malfeasance Gun brought into the real world

Reddit user clonewolfstudio, who designs and makes replica guns and swords, has showcased their very own Malfeasance hand cannon. If you'd like to know how this intricate piece of kit is made, keep reading.

The 1:1 scale 17-inch replica is made from a combination of polyurethane and photopolymer resins. Individual bullets can go into the cylinder separately or as a whole attached to the mount.

The inner cylinder has a 15mm bearing that allows it to spin inside of the outer cylinder. The outer cylinder is mounted on a swing arm that allows it to be flicked out and the hammer and trigger both move.

Clonewolfstudio states that "a lot of time went into designing the cylinder area to keep it visually similar to the in-game models while also allowing free range of movement."

It really is a beautiful gun and so delicately made for something so forceful and powerful. If you'd like to see more replica's from Clonewolfstudio, head on over to their website.

Destiny 2 is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
