Destiny 2 will feature new game modes in the seasonal activities of the upcoming Season of the Splicer!

Destiny 2's upcoming update, Season of the Splicer, is the talk of the town in the community.

Over the course of the last few days, we've had a glimpse of the all-new content coming from Bungie.

Part of the Season of the Splicer are two seasonal activities. Learn more about these new game modes in Destiny 2, Override and Expunge!

Destiny 2 New Game Modes - Override and Expunge

The new seasonal activities in Destiny 2 include two new game modes, namely Override and Expunge.

Override is a 6-player matchmade activity. Fireteams of six will use Splicer tech to hack the Vex network. You've to uncover their secrets, steal their code, and use their power against them.

On the other hand, Expunge is a 'weekly pinnacle mission'. Each week, Guardians will uncover new vulnerabilities within the Vex network and they will also use Splicer keys to infiltrate and collapse it from within.

About Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer

After the closure of Season of the Chosen, Bungie's Destiny 2 is all set and geared for the start of Season of the Splicer. It is the third content season in the game's fourth year.

Season of the Splicer's storyline stars Mithrax, the former Captain of the House of Dusk who later founds the House of Light.

This season's storyline centres around Mithrax, the iconic Fallen Kell and former Captain of the House of Dusk who also founded the House of Light.

The new season looks promising with brand-new content that the community is extremely excited for!
