At the end of the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal livestream, Activision and Blizzard announced a few details about the PC version of the game.

First and foremost, we hear of a partnership with Blizzard to have Destiny 2 be the first third-party game to be available on Battle.net, which is Blizzard Entertainment's online gaming service. In fact, the digital PC version of Destiny 2 will be available exclusively on Battle.net.

The publisher also announced other details about the PC version which you can find below:

  • 4k Resolution Support (3820x2160)
  • Uncapped framerate
  • Full mouse and keyboard support with custom keyboard mapping
  • Text chat
  • Adjustable Field of View
  • Detailed PC settings screen
  • 21:9 moniter support

Destiny 2 will be released on PS4, Xbox One on September 8th, 2017. The PC version has also been confirmed, but the specific release date has not been announced.

A beta will be available sometime during the summer. At today's event, a myriad of Destiny 2 information was revealed, including a full gameplay revealnew planets, and a gameplay trailer.
