If you're eager to play Destiny 2 on PC, it's time to put that bandwidth to good use, because Activision and Bungie just made the pre-download of the game available on Blizzard's Battle.net client.

By launching your client, you can start downloading right now and depending on your connection, it might take quite some time: the full package is a whopping 36 gigabytes. Keep in mind, that the actual hard disk drive space required is much higher (about 70 gigabytes) since the download appears to be heavily compressed.

Luckily, we have a few days to get it done because the game won't unlock until October 24th. Of course, that also means that if you want to play as soon as possible, you're out of luck, and you have to wait like me and the rest of the second class citizen on PC. Oh, joy.

Destiny 2 is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One, but if you're interested in the PC version, you can find out at what time it’ll exactly unlock and the updated system requirements in our article from a few days ago. On top of that, you can enjoy the launch trailer for PC.
