If resorting to every possible method to obtain gear and advantages in your games is your drift, then be prepared for a full intake of energy drinks and pastries, because Activision just reached out with a press release announcing two new Destiny 2 partnerships.

The first initiative will be on the international level, partnering with Rockstar Energy Drink, that will issue limited edition Destiny 2 cans available in the U.S. and Canada, U.K. and Germany.

The cans, coming in different flavors depending on the country, will start to be shipped to stores this month, and will let you get some sweet in-game gear, on top of a chance to win daily, weekly and grand prizes including Destiny 2-themed bikes.

Starting on September 1st, the redemption page will be available here.

The Pop-Tarts partnerships will be only for the U.S., and will come with spcial Destiny 2 boxes, and each will grant you a XP boost for the game. Redemption will be available here starting, again, on September 1st.

Senior Vice President of Product Management Byron Beede accompanied the press release with a statement, which sounds as funny and hyperbolic as you would expect from something like this.

“In collaboration with Rockstar Energy Drink and Pop-Tarts, we chose strategic, renowned lifestyle partners in major markets to bring the Destiny 2 universe to life. We’re bringing these partners together to complement the overwhelming excitement of Destiny 2’s launch with benefits that reward players both inside and outside of the universe.”

You can check out the custom packaging for both partnerships below, and if you want to learn more about Destiny 2, you can check out the dates of the PC beta alongside its requirements, and videos showing “The Farm” social space from the recent open beta on PS4 and Xbox One. Speaking of bonuses, you can check out the pre-order goodies Kill-tracker Ghost and Coldheart Exotic Trace Rifle.

Activision recently expressed its "tremendous confidence" in the game, and announced that beta and pre-orders surpassed those of the original Destiny.

Destiny 2 will release on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th, while PC players will have to wait until October 24th.
