Before its official unveiling later today, the name of the next Destiny 2 season has supposedly leaked on the Australian PlayStation Store.According to the PlayStation Store listing of a Silver bundle (via Polygon), the game's microtransaction currency, the next Destiny 2 season will be named Season of Arrivals. From the image, it seems the Hive will take center stage this time around. The Season of Arrivals Silver Bundle, which costs $21.95, will include a total of 1,700 Silver and the Strange Visitors Legendary emote.

Additionally, the new Destiny 2 season listing also mentions needing 105 GB of hard drive space by September 22, 2020. While nothing is confirmed, it seems this could be the release date of the game's next expansion.

Just a couple of days ago, Bungie teased the "next chapter" of Destiny 2. While no concrete details were revealed, the teaser trailer did put The Drifter, the NPC who hosts Gambit matches, in the spotlight. It seems his ship was heading to a new area, which looks to be Jupiter's moon Europa.

The reveal for the future of Destiny 2 is about to begin in just a bit. It will be streaming live on various platforms (including Twitch, Mixer, and YouTube) at 9am PDT.

Personally, I am pretty excited for the reveal. As I recently built a PC, I decided to check out Destiny 2 again, and I'm kind of hooked on it. Also, I always come back to check out the big expansions, so if September 22, 2020, is indeed the release date for the expansion, I'll definitely be back in Bungie's popular loot shooter.

If you are excited about all the new Destiny 2 content, it is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia for free. Bungie also plans to release the loot shooter on next-gen consoles, the Xbox Series X and PS5. Also, check back on the site soon for when the new content is officially announced.
