Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Gets a New Trailer Preparing Players for Launch Next Week
Dark things are on the horizon for Destiny 2 players, as a new trailer has been released for the upcoming Shadowkeep expansion.
While 2019 has already been an eventful year for Bungie after its move away from Activision and going independent (again), 2019 is also an eventful year for Destiny 2 players with the upcoming release of the title’s next major expansion, Shadowkeep.
Bungie has released a new trailer for the upcoming Destiny 2: Shadowkeep expansion ahead of its release next week across consoles and PC. Specifically, the new trailer gives players a deeper look into the conflict ahead, along with all of the new activities and events that players can embark on on the Moon. This of course will involve Eris Morn, who plays a key role in the storyline of Shadowkeep and gets a large portion of screentime in the new trailer.
With the expansion to launch next Tuesday on all platforms, Bungie is already letting players get a step ahead of the game as preloading for Destiny 2 has been made available on Steam. Players that purchased the game on Steam can now begin preloading it on Steam, while those looking to jump into the free-to-play version, New Light, can also begin installing it ahead of launch and hop into all of Destiny 2‘s Year One content for free.
If you’re coming to Destiny 2 from Battle.net (like I am), you also will have the ability to migrate your account from Battle.net to the Steam version when it launches next week, which you can do right now.
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will arrive for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 1, 2019. For a closer look at the upcoming expansion, you can check out the new trailer below:
