More details have been released surrounding the new social space coming to Destiny 2. In a video released by IGN, Bungie's Ryan Ebenger goes over some of the NPC's we can expect to see in the new hub as well as other details. Much like the original game, the new social space dubbed "The Farm", will allow Guardians to meet up with other players and interact with various NPC's around the hub.

In the new hub, the Postmaster and Cryptarch will be making a return to ensure Guardians still have a place to pick up their mail and decrypt their engrams. The new hub looks to be populated well with NPC's which gives it a more life like feel. As you progress through the Destiny 2 experience, the social space will evolve by means of the population growing and characters coming and going which will make for a fairly dynamic experience.

One of the coolest things coming to the new social space is the inclusion of a fully scoring soccer field. Now you and other Guardians can have a friendly match of soccer while you wait for the rest of your Fireteam to finish whatever they are doing.

Destiny 2 will release for PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th, 2017, followed by its PC release on October 24th, 2017.
