Destiny 2 Gets New Trailer Showing PC Beta Running in 4K, 60 FPS

A new trailer of Destiny 2 shows off the game's upcoming open beta on PC, running at 4k resolution and 60 frames per second.

Today Activision and Nvidia presented a new trailer of Bungie’s upcoming first person shooter Destiny 2.

The trailer showcases the open beta on PC, which will run between August 29th and August 31st (it will actually open on August 28th for those who pre-ordered). To be more specific, we get to see the game running in 4K resolution, 60 FPS, even if it will actually run with uncapped frame rates on our gaming rigs.

The beta on PC will in fact support 4K, uncapped framerates, a fully adjustable graphics settings, keyboard and mouse support, and 21:9 monitor support.

You can check out the trailer below.

Speaking of Destiny 2‘s PC beta, you can check out the its system requirements, and videos showing “The Farm” social space from the recently-concluded open beta on PS4 and Xbox One. You can also enjoy a recent trailer showcasing the Crucible, and a few more tidbits of info on the game’s content.

Activision recently expressed its “tremendous confidence” in the upcoming game, and announced that the console beta and pre-orders surpassed those of the original Destiny in the same period.

Destiny 2 will launch on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th, while PC players will have to wait until October 24th.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
