Last night, Bungie officially announced the Vow of the Disciple raid as the next big raid in Destiny 2 happening in the new world of The Witch Queen expansion.

The rule is simple and similar to previous raids. Everyone in the world will get to start the raid at a certain time, and the first squad to finish the raid in the world will be rewarded with a unique belt of victory!

Destiny 2 Vow of the Disciple Raid Start Time and Date

Destiny 2 Vow of the Disciple raid will officially kick off on March 5 at 10 am PT/1 pm ET/6 pm UTC/7 pm CET. For Australian players, the start date and time will be March 6 at 5 am AEDT, which is a pretty rough time to be awake and play Destiny 2!

The live stream for the raid and watch party will start 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the raid. The Contest Mode will be available for only 24 hours, during which the cap level is 1530. With a level above 1530, you can still participate in Contest Mode, but your higher level will have no positive effect on your experience.

It's worth noting that Artifact Power will be disabled during the Contest Mode.

Destiny 2 is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
